Color match is close but not dead on. Keep in mind that I have the White Tri Coat Metallic and it is a royal pain to match. On my old truck, I had a silver metallic Snugtop and it also had a slight color difference.
I think that unless the paint is applied the exact same way and the metallic flakes have the same orientation, you will notice a difference with certain light reflections, regardless of the cover manufacturer. But, if you want a painted top, it is cheaper to order it that way than having it painted locally.

I bought mine for $500 over invoice not counting the Ford rebates. I could have played hardball and got a few more $$ off, but I wanted that truck and made a deal with them on parts instead. I now email the parts manager directly with my needs and I get parts at slightly above cost (always cheaper than I can find online). I am happy with my decision and the fact I don't have to drive my POS BMW X5 any longer.

You do realize that there is a difference between sticker (MSRP - Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) and invoice (The price that the dealer typically pays for a vehicle) don't you? $500 over invoice only profits the dealer $500. Then he got whatever other Ford incentives. So he paid less for the truck then the dealer did.

HAHA This is what happens when you try to read something after a 20 hour shift and being up for over 55 hours.

Got a response from Ford to my question. I was looking for this information for awhile. Mine is #1252 AWD.
Thank you for your recent contact with the Customer Relationship Center. I received your request to find out how many Harley Davidson Editions were built in 2011. I show there were 2,254 4x4’s made and 724 4x2’s made totaling 2,978.
