Thanks! Ya the radio has a natural angle to it for easy veiwing i guess. I could have put some spacers behind the top mount hardware and brought it out some. But it works for me. The unit and free VIN programming to my truck was $1300. That included the kit to adapt it to my truck, as I didnt have Nav before.

Why didn't u just go with an alpine or ken wood unit for that price?

I dont like the flip down screen radios. Kinda cheesy to me.

Delz, I tried installing the Advent unit. It is not compatible with the factory Sony Sound System. Believe me, I tried. It probably can be done, I just didnt have the time to figure it out.

you could have got yourself a really high end setup for that price. But if you're happy that's what matters most.

Where did you get the needed nav modules. I'm trying to do the same in my truck and am finding that I am missing some hardware.

What modules are you referring to? The Nav is in the radio. Im not sure what you mean bud.

Maybe it's different for 2013 but I was told that I needed a control module and a separate sd card slot and cables in addition to the nav unit and bezel which I have.
