sorry I couldn't get the graphics better but I hope it helps! I know it states by directional remote which is the 200 series but the same troubleshooting steps and chirps will be the same. Just skip the parts about led lights and such that has to do with the remote getting the signal the truck has started.

+1 on this. The only time I have had a problem is when I do what is said above.

after reading the troubleshooting guide I wonder if you guys are checking the oil or anything that has to do with opening the hood?? The reason I say this is maybe the system see's the hood was last opened and defaults to that status??? Like it has to be started once after the hood was opened???? When this error happens,, maybe go out and start it with the key then shut things down as usual, then try the remote start? Just typing out loud!!!!

Mine is iffy sometimes also. I've found that if I wait 1-2 seconds after pressing the lock button before hitting start twice it fixes the problem.

Same boat here, some times it works perfectly and other times not. Only had it 7 months.
