Default An odd question...

Ok, now i have a 2010 F 150 STX. This truck is very "bare bones" so to speak. Pretty much all i have is, power windows, locks, and mirrors. I even have manual 4x4. The only option i have is the larger gas tank(35 gal)

Now, i do have the info center above the stereo/climate control area. I accidently pushed the power and defrost buttons simultaneiously. The external temperature lit up...i dont have this option. But is there a way to enable it? Theres obviously power going to it. Not a big deal if i cant, Im just curious

I have the same STX package and did the same exact thing the other night. I'm very curious to see if there is a way to enable it.

I did the same thing a few weeks ago, and now I really want to get a temp sensor installed, if possible...

I am surprised that the external temp isn't standard. And I can't believe they even still make/offer a manual shift for 4x4... Really... I had no idea Ford (or anyone else for that matter) still offered that.

That was the biggest reason I bought the STX over the fx4.

On the 2011's the only way you can get the manual 4x4 shifter is in an XL with the 3.7 V6.

I specifically bought the STX for the manual shifter as well. I had waaay too many problems with the electronic in my '04.
