Hey i have those on my 07 fenders

 

after i did my 09 emblems i was like, i should have just put 3 tailgate emblems on and it would look much cleaner.

 

Ford going on the cheap I guess......Did you happen to look at the build dates on these pick'em-up trucks?

 

Not only is it different but also a different size than the fender logos. Looks to be the same but each letter is about 1/8" larger than the fender logos. I found this out when I first started marking the vinyl inserts for them.

 

I'll try to get back over to the dealership this week. Just caught my eye, I'll find out.

 

I'll be by my dealer tomorrow. I'll look at their's also. I was just wondering if they have made the change permanent, or if someone just made a big mistake.

 

False. Limited's have the lariat logo, at least from seeing the ones ive run into

 

Correct limiteds have the lariat badge. Have one see it everyday

 

Hmm. Seems to be some inconsistency at Ford lately. Must have been a Friday vehicle Just picked up my 2013 Platinum ... and yet again a different badge.

 

They must have changed it for 2013. All the 2013 Limited's at three different dealerships in my area all had just the F150 on the fender. Everything else, XLT's, Lariat's, and Platinum's all had the other badges with the name of the model on it also.
