Default Nu Finish

This was my first time using Nu Finish Once a Year polish and I think it worked pretty good! It was easy to apply and buffed off easily. I think I may have found a new favorite product. Maybe I'll try some of that Collinite 845 that everybody on here raves about when I hit it one last time before winter.

Ya that Collinite must be some good stuff. I see it being recommended a lot on here. This is my first truck that I'm really taking care of, so I'm still learning what products are good and which ones aren't.

I was a Nu Finish lover when I was 16-20... back when I took good care of my cars. I loved that stuff.
I then went years without waxing or polishing, until I got my black F150. Collinite rules.

I still have half a bottle of vintage Nu Finish. Is it worth trying it out?

I think it's worth it if u still have extra. It worked good for me and it's supposed to last a long time. I need to find something to buff out a few drops of tree sap that got dried on my truck. I have meguires ultimate compound, so I think I'll try that out then buy some collinite and put that on before winter

Don't get me wrong, Nu finish is not a bad product there is just better stuff out there is all. IMO any wax is better than no wax at all

NuFinish is a sealer, not wax. That's why it lasts a long time. It's been about 14 months since I put some on my truck and water still beads off the paint. I need to apply some more when I get my truck back from the body shop.

Waxes usually dry off after a week, especially on dark cars in direct sunlight.

There are better sealers but they're also more complicated to apply which is why I like NuFinish so much. You can apply it in direct sunlight. It also works great on windows but doesn't last long on the windshield. I use it on my motorcycles and face shields too. Good stuff.
