Default Notification of Sync update. Is it necessary?

I got a notification through the Ford owners website for my 2009 I just bought in march that I have a dealer Sync update available. Anyone have experience with this most recent dealer update with their Sync and is it worth it? I don't get much time to go to the dealership here with my work schedule and was wondering if I really needed to run in and get it done. I have the basic Sync interface with the temp/radio not the in-dash screen dvd/Nav version. I haven't had many issues with my Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone except for a once in a blue moon disconnect but connecting to Sync is not an issue nor call quality. I have done the flash for the online update but show this Dealer one due on my truck.

On mine, it showed a dealer update when I bought the truck about a month and a half ago. I checked it a couple of days ago and it let me download it and do it myself. I haven't noticed any difference in the way it works, but it is up to date.
