No sound on iPhone with Sync
I leave the Bluetooth on, on my iPhone 5, all the time so that it automatically connects to Sync when I get in my truck. If someone calls me, it rings over the stereo. If I am using GPS or receive a text or any other sound I hear nothing. Not even through my phone.
If I switch the stereo input to Bluetooth audio I can hear all the sounds through the stereo (text tone, GPS,...)
Any way I can have the phone sounds (text tone, GPS,...) play through the stereo while listening to the radio? If not, can I at least get audio back to my phone without turning the Bluetooth off?
** I don't have the touch screen Sync.

Hi, mpossjr -
The only way to listen to GPS or receive notification from your iPhone is for the SYNC system to be on Bluetooth audio.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

So I would need to turn bluetooth off to hear the GPS on my phone?!

Nope, if you want to hear them, disconnect your phone from sync, or put it on vibrate for texts and such

I have a question for you regarding Sync in my 2011. If the last source was Bluetooth Audio coming from my iPhone, when the truck is restarted, is the audio source supposed to still be Bluetooth Audio? Whenever I start my truck it just says "Sync Line IN", but the phone is connected. Audio just won't play even if I go into my phone and start the music and make sure Sync is selected on it.

When you lose the connection it automatically goes to the next available audio source: line-in.
