No one will install level kit
I have no clue what/how disconnecting the negative terminal has anything to do with the Electronic Power Assisted Steering system (EPAS) ... but I do know that many here have confirmed the above, which is "Any front end work means you should disconnect the negative battery terminal so that the EPAS is not affected."
Long story short, disconnecting it is no big deal, and doesn't "kill" your presets on your radio/nav/etc... so why not do it?

I believe the OP has a 2010, which should NOT have the Electric assist steering (EPAS) system,
But yes it is indeed best to disconnect the Neg battery terminal as many on here have encountered some issues because of NOT disconnecting it.
Why gamble???? Simply Disconnect it.... it takes 15 seconds & will save you any possible, (again, possible) headaches.
OP, I'm up in Cranberry Twp area....I have a couple weeks of long day work going on at the moment until the end of the month...If you don't get it done by then, drive up to me. (30 min drive)!...I'll help you put it on!

Yes I indeed have a 2010, but from what you guys are saying I will make sure to disconnect the battery. Why risk it.
