Default New Mods!

After spending 8 months in the desert I decided to treat myself to a few additions to my 09 STX. I installed a 3in front spacer and1.5in block in the rear. I also replaced all the door speakers and installed a Pioneer HU. Along with the head unit I installed a rear cam and ran the wires for a sub.

I went with a Prop Comp 7036 18x9 0 BS with 285/65/18 Trail Grapplers. I didn't have to trim any and I haven't had any rubbing yet. My only complaint is the ride is much harsher in the rear. If anyone has any suggestions to help the ride I would like to hear it. Feedback is also welcome.

Looks good! I agree with everyone, HD heads/tails, maybe some window tint, black flares

looks really good. clean and simple. you should definitely consider going with the black Raptor-style head and tail lights, it would compliment the other black really well.

That looks *really* good. I agree with the suggestion for the black-frame head and tail lights. The chrome is out of place. Same goes for the logos.

SCab short box looks so soo good! I agree with the Raptor/Harley style headlights, that would just tie everything together really nicely. That's a damn nice looking truck you got there!

Looks clean!!! As mentioned above, some Harley head and tails would really compliment your truck and maybe some tint.

As for the harsh ride in the rear, switch out those blocks for some add a leafs.

Looks good! Does the rear-view camera tie into that Pioneer head unit display also?

Truck looks great! I'm looking at those same wheels. I suggest painting the door handles, tint the windows, and remove the thin stripe down the sides!

The windows are tinted but it didnt show well in the pictures.
I do want to get the heads and tails but they will have to wait till I put some rims and tires on the wife's Suburban. She saw my truck and wants her own now. I think I may have created a monster. She has a 2010 Z71 and she wants it leveled with rims too. As for the rear cam yes it is tied to the headunit. I know I could have gone with a newer model but I wanted the SD card slot on the front. I don't use my IPOD in the truck I just load up the 16gb card and use it.

Thanks for all the kind words and I will be sure to update if I make any changes.

I went with the Avic x940-bt, would rather have a full SD card rather than the mini.... other than that the unit is nice.
