Default New Guy...

Hello Gene here,
Just picked up a new 09 F150 XL 2WD
It was time to down size, my last 5 trucks have been SuperDutys
Being a Ford Employee for the last 24 years kinda makes me a Ford guy
Even though I have one of the lower end F150's I'm really impressed
with this truck!
We all know there's not a better looking truck!
The ride was a real shocker for the better coming out of 4X4 SD's.
Not to mention my fuel mileage has almost doubled form my last V10 4X4!
Anyway just thought I'd pop in rather than just snoop around
I'm really enjoying this truck and the fuel mileage.

Well thanks for the welcome all....
Pic's? It aint much just a plane jane white std cab 8ft bed.
I do plan on some after market wheels (black) and a bed cover
thats about it.
I'll post some pic's when I get the wheels on.
Oh it has 3.55 gears and I do have a new set of 3.73's here,
the new wheels will be a bit taller so in goes the 3.73's.

I had a similar experience, and traded in my '04 4X4 F250 with a V10, for my XLT F150.

As much as I enjoyed my F250, I am elated by the comfort, ride, and MPG of my new F150. Moreover, I have as much leg, shoulder, and head room for my 6'-4" 240lb body, as I did in the prior truck.

Enjoy !!!
