What if you dont buy the H13 wire harness, and just add the H7 HID kit? will the brights still work?

You need the wire harness to tap into the H13 Plug on the truck to provide the harness the signals it needs to turn on and also switch the high beams on.
The H13 harness will keep things plug and play for the most part. It can be done with other harnesses but will need some splicing or electrical work.

So this would be the correct harness I'd need for the H7 hid kit, correct?

Okay so I pulled the plug on these headlights I’m hoping I get lucky and have no crazy issues. I will just reseal them, before I install them. I was just planning on putting on some Sylvania Ultras and calling it a day (since I wanted to keep the halogen look) but now I see everyone is having great success with HIDs and LEDs in them. I drive through crappy roads and off road a lot for my job. Will HIDs or LEDs flicker when I go thru those kinds of roads?? Many years ago (10years) I had bad experiences with HIDs flickering on bad roads, so I just stuck with halogen since then. Have things changed?

Thanks yall

I’m a newbie to headlight retrofits, but am generally good with most DIY projects, Dremel-work and general fabrication. Can someone please give a high-level overview of how to disassemble these headlights and retrofit them with EvoX-R 2.0 projectors?

Remove screws from the back and heat them in an oven. Then they pry apart.
