Bummer!! Even if you do seal/re-seal around the edge where clear front cover meets the dark back piece, the H7 bulbs don't have any gasket as the turn signal and side markers have. Do you think the rubber domed "dust cover" provided will be enough to keep moisture out? Granted your temp variation is much greater than here in North FL. Mine went thru a car wash a few days ago with no apparent issue.

These are some low quality headlights when compared to some other aftermarket lights. But with a little TLC, they can be a decent set of lights. Drop some disiccant bags in there and they will stay moisture free.

Yeah. I see the evox-r v2 projectors are on sale for $135, and an additional 5% off coupon so they're like $128. So since I already have the Morimoto H13 harness, all I'd need are the d2s bulbs and ballasts? Or do I need the additional igniters also?

Every single aftermarket headlight really needs to be RTV'd but hey it's not too bad.

Personally, I think the full c bar would look a lot better, but im a little biased.

I have a busted headlight. Instead of replacing 1 oem headlight i've decided to go with new aftermarket set.

Please let me know what setup you would go with for 3-4 hundred dollars. I am new to headlights. I am considering spyder but not sure.

Much appreciated.

I would think they'd be fine with the RTV. We've had quite a bit of rain since I've installed them and didn't have the fogging issue until I ran my truck through the car wash. But I'll see if I can find some silica packs locally and then run the bead of RTV and see what happens.

The rubber boot takes a bit of effort to put on and makes a tight seal.

Just get the kit below without a harness.

A little bit off topic. When I got hit in my 2005. The bodyshop tried to pull a fast one me. Instead replacing my headlight with a new one (which was in the estimate), somewhere they got just a "new" lens, and went through all the trouble of switching lenses, instead of buying a new one, just to save a few bucks. It was in 2010 as well. The OEM"s for a 2005 had dropped in price by then.
Well, two things.. It was fogged up like your's the next morning and the mounting tap on the top right still had the little crack, from when I over tightened it, changing out the bulbs way before.
It was his insurance Co, so it wasn't as if my guy was trying to save me a little money. They are no longer my guys.
If it's any consolation, my 2014's taillight needed some sealing when it was only a year old.
So you're not alone in having a fogged up headlight or taillight.
