Default New 33" toyo's

Well i got some new m/t toyos for my truck. First impressions i dont like them as much as i thought i would. they are load and look tiny. I hate to say it but i can actually tell the difference of how sluggish my truck is now with the 33's which is crazy because i only added 200lbs of weight. i am going to give it a few days before i completly pass judgment but right now i am bummed. what do you guys think?

I think they look good. That's the trade-off for the larger more aggressive tires. I just put 34" M/Ts on today... while it not quite as peppy as it used to be, I don't feel like it's too major. If you like them the I'd say the best thing you can do is keep an open mind and you'll get used to it. If you dwell on it you might just start to feel like it's worse than it is.

Its looking good. I assume you got 33x12.5's? That's a 70+ pound tire, which is why you're truck feels sluggish. Maybe go to a 275/60/20 (33"). The terra grappler in that size is only 42 lbs.

Looks too aggressive a tire for those platinum rims IMO. Go to a true aftermarket wheel and they'll look perfect

Most manufacturer's sites have the weights listed in the "Size & Specs" section. Ditto on Tire Rack, Discount Tire, Sams/Walmart, etc....

OP, tires look good!

Toyo's website has weights listed, as does any tire on Tirerack.com. Finding weights for Nitto and Cooper tires is tough as they aren't listed on their website. For those brands I just google the brand/model/size I'm looking for, and usually sites like Amazon, nextag, summit, and some tire retailers will have the weights listed.

Loss of power and MPG drop is more related to weight than overall height. Increasing the height will increase your fuel economy if weight stays the same. There are a few companies making P rated 275/60/20 but none that I'm aware of making p rated 275/70/18 (both 33" tires). All the larger diameter tires are LT load E's nowadays. Load E's on a 1/2 ton is silly.

Nice, but add a level, and it's awesome! Love that color too.
