Default Need some help - WHAT IS THIS?

I got in the truck driving to Home Depot today and noticed this..

I have no clue what it is, or where it belongs.

Thought maybe someone could advise how to put it back where it goes.

Thanks!

Based upon the "PurSuit" moniker, would suspect an aftermarket lighting addition. e.g. upfitter.

*Look for some interweb info' on the back/bottom of the box.

Looks like a pile of hot garbage, ready to short out and burn down the truck.

That is what I thought, but the conundrum now is where exactly does it belong?

If you don't know what it is for and don't use it, take it out. Trace the wires and cut where they are connected and tape them up good. If you are not comfortable doing this then most car stereo shops will take it out for a small fee.

Looks like they make remote start and security systems, as well as GPS trackers.....maybe your significant other is watching you

Here is their website, maybe you can get what you need to actually use it.
