Default Need help troubleshooting sync module

I have been having trouble with my 911 assist error and yesterday I called ford motor company to find out the sync module I bought the part from a salvage vehicle which was produce in canada. The lady told me the 911 assist and vhr is only avaliable in the US and not canada. I ended up purchasing another sync module for 75 dollars, but I just want to know about canada thing if its true or not...before I cancel my order. I have a bad feeling that its has nothing to the vehicle being produce in canada or the united states for 911 assist and vhr to work.

As in the Canada module doesn't have 911, cause we most certainly have 911. My 11 and my 12 both have 911 assist, I've never used it though.

Anyone else have this problem? when my iPod is connected and playing just fine down the road, I stop at the gas station or whatever and shut the truck off. Then I go back to start it up and the radio automatically goes to the fm station and won't allow me to access the usb2. Its on until about ten min have passed of driving then I can re access it. Any ideas????

IPods suck, put your mp3s on a USB stick and it will work better. Or try unplugging the iPod before you shut it off and plug it back in after you start the truck, personally I did the USB 2 mod with a USB stick and haven't had a problem since.
