I am new to the truck game. I have a 2010 Platinum with the 5.4L engine. I want to purchase a tuner for fuel mileage only. I am not trying to adjust gear ratios and i never tow. I have looked at reviews and have no idea how to choose these.

Hypertech VS Superchips VS Edge??? How do you decide? I read all the different threads but everyone has different reasons for getting a tuner.

Edge or SCT are usually the most popular for the f series. We have a massive tuner thread sticky around here somewhere, let me see if I can find it.

Well the primary purpose of a tuner is for more power and fuel mileage is a added benefit. You will affect the mpg more by how you drive and keep the vehicle maintained but usually can get about 2 to maybe 3 mpg more with a fuel savings specifiFor a fuel specific tune, you would want a custom tune written just for that.
