I've got the platinum with the chrome mirror caps and do not like chrome. Does the mirror caps remove easily???

I believe the mirror caps do come off easily, if you search there are some threads on it. I guess I'll find out soon enough.

when i did mine i put a little screwdriver in back and pryed out a bit untill it broke the clips. then my new ones just poped in place. took 10 min to do both sides. just becarfull not to scratch up the mirrior. the cap i wasn't worried about.

Thanks, I haven't looked yet but are the clips obvious, as in can you see where they are easily.

no they are inside mirror. it was a little nerve racking the first time i did it. cause you know your are breaking the caps. but just take your time once you hear the clips break they just pull out. remember to get the broken clips out before you put the new caps on. or they will rattel. there is a way to do it without breaking anything. but you have to take out the glass. i didn't want to risk breaking that. your new caps will show you were the clips are.

man whoever sold you that grill sure does know his stuff. Sure know what looks good when it comes to paint.
