Thanks bro. I've done this so many times now I can take apart and put back together the whole thing in minutes. If you even have to do it again now ya know. Just thinking now what's next???

Im thinking App. package badges to match my red/black theme, leather interior conversion, suede headliner and visors, resonator delete and muffler changeout, an done! until i think of something else..

Inlays anyone? Yes please! Got bored tonight and did the f150 badges in carbon fiber and then wrapped the rear camera for fun. The badges look good but I finished the camera in the dark have to see it tomorrow in the sun to decide if I like it or not. I may do the platinum area of the tailgate in CF instead. Ya never know.

Great looking truck man!

EDIT: Just read through the ENTIRE thread. And I take it back. AMAZING looking truck glad you went with the lowered route now I know the exact stance mine will have. I've already got the rear block out, and 22's, just waiting to do my 2/2.

Thanks man. It's been fun building it. A few more cosmetic things to do and then start looking at getting more power out of this thing. S/C is prob the route I'll go but havnt started to look at anything yet.

Nice build!! I see that you had a level kit with the duratrac's and then went to a lowering kit and 22s. i have not found too many people that have done both. I currently have a level kit with 20" wheels and trail grapplers and im thinking about removing everything and lowering the truck. i was wondering if i could get your opinion on comparing the two different set ups? did you notice improvement in fuel economy after lowering? are you happy with the lowering kit? please feel free to include any helpful info. Thanks!

Thanks man. I love the set up I have now. Handles much better on the road, the ride is very close to stock with less body roll and just a little stiffer in the rear. Once its loaded up you can't tell a difference at all. You can still tow with it no problem (2500lbs boat 1000lbs trailer) and it doesn't sag or bottom out. As far as MPG, from one extreme to the other it's obviously much better, maybe 1 MPG better than stock. (Only city driving so far) The other set up was purely looks, this one is the best of both worlds I feel. Looks like no other truck around here and has no loss of power, response, or MPG you get with bigger tires and levelling but still funtions as a truck when needed. As a bonus it's much easier to get in and out of. I'm 6' so it was never a problem for me but now my 6 y/o girl can grab the handle and get in all by herself, she loves it, and sticking my 18 month old boy in his car seat is just as easy as putting him in my wife's explorer. Hope this helps, anything else just ask.
