Multiple Intake MAP failures
I have a 2013 3.5 eco boost and have recently had to replace the MAP sensor on the intake manifold 3 times in the last month. They seem to last only about 300 miles and then they just short out. When they unplugged the sensor the 5 volts returned to the plug so they just replaced it and the code clears. They said the wiring was checked out so I wonder what is shorting the MAP sensor out. Does this sensor go back to the PCM or to other locations?
