Default Muffler ?

Good evening Ford Folks. I have a question for maby someone that's done it. I have a 2010 FX4 Short Bed and I want to put a Flowmaster with 2 turndowns behind the cab. An inspection guy told me something about making sure what ever I do, make sure I have 3psi of pressure back to the motor or it will mess it up. Im from the Old Skool of just throwing a set of Flows on and running with it. If this is true what model Flowmaster should I go with. I just want a lil rumble like the old Camaros used to have. Thanks guys.

With an attitude like that no one will want to help you. Maybe the people who clicked the link didn't know the answer to your question.

The guy has no clue what he is talking about. I personally am not a fan of turndowns because you are dumping all of that exhaust under the cab and bed of the truck. Don't you want your exhaust gasses to exit AWAY from your truck?

I don't know about the back pressure thing and am no expert on mufflers. I have read lots of posts on people putting on different systems and then they say it sounds like crap.. I could have said search the forum but wanted to explain why...lots of posts and threads about exhaust. .I can't search and link cause I'm on mobile right now. .good luck

Check you tube vids to find the one you like the sound of and put it on. You will be fine, I have done muffler deletes at my shop with no problems.
