My wife is presently driving a 2010 F-150 Lariat, with a 5.4, and 3:55 rear end.
She is getting, 15-15.5 mpg, in town, and approx 16-16.5 on the highway, and +/- 65 mph.
These #'s are figuring by hand, NOT the lie-o-meter.
She wanted to know how she compared to everyone else's mileage.
Thanx

I had a 2002 with 4.6L and 3.73 gears (4X4 Screw). My fuel mileage was basically the same as as you're showing.
I currently have a 2014 Screw 4X4 with the 5.0L and 3.55 gears. The overall average for 9000 miles is just about 17mpg. Around town, which is mostly rural 2 lane, very little true city, I'm around 15-16. On the interstate driving 75+ it'll do 19ish.
Friday I drove from Rome GA to Knoxville TN and back. I was in no hurry and used every trick in the book to get optimum fuel mileage. I never got over 70 and usually 60-65. I averaged 21.3 for the trip.
I've found the "lie o meter" to be close enough. For the 1st 5000 miles I hand calculated and was rarely off by more than .3 mpg. The most I was ever off was .5 mpg and the trucks readout was .5 mpg lower than I got hand calculating it. For the last 4000 miles or so I just trust the trucks readout. The trip meter tells me how much fuel I've consumed. At fill ups the pump is always within .1 or .2 gal. And over as often as under.
