Default ProClip Angled Mount for Garmin GPS unit

It uses the useless little cubby to the right of the center stack. Proclip makes holders that will mount in various places that will work for any iPhone with or without a case.
How I love using the forum search utility!

While doing so on keyword "cubby", I found this thread w/ included link to ProClip's website. I'm not looking to mount a tablet device but instead, my objective is to relocate Garmin GPS unit from dashtop to a lower position for better viewing clarity.

Background: I own several old-school Garmin StreetPilot units (2730 being my fav) and planned on using one of those in my new truck. But then, no aux input jack on radio head unit ultimately led me to buying the Garmin 3597LMTHD shown, which is BT capable, has HiDef screen resolution plus mag mount back w/ power cord connecting to the mount rather than GPS unit. The 3597 is one of Garmin's newer higher end Nuvi models.

Although the screen is very nice, I find LED vs LCD screens as used in older SP units harder to read in bright light - especially while wearing sunglasses - thus my objective to find a practical no-drill mount to relocate the GPS lower. I'm thinking the ProClip Angled Mount linked by Chris will work fine! BTW, I plan to hard wire Garmin power to reduce cable clutter...
