Ya I kept going back a fourth between these and 285/75/17 Toyo MT's but man 72lbs/each!! I knew they would kill my off the line power and MPG's and didn't want to deal with it.
Very happy with my decision on the 34/10.5/17's (55.1lbs/each) Also the tread measures pretty much the same width as the 285/70/17 KO2's

I noticed no power loss off the line at all. At first I wish I would have gone wider just for looks but I got over that real fast.

It's weird, they only look narrow when I have the wheels cranked all the way to one side and looking at the truck straight on

I live in the city of Chicago and drive in heavy traffic every single day. I have an SCT 93 octane tune, 285/40R22 tires with chrome wheels and a tonneau cover for wind resistance and I'm averaging 15.3mpg. 3.5ecoboost engine.

Update on mine. I now am running a MPT 93 Race tune, on E85. Still no idea of HP. 13.5 at steady 75 mph. I know I lost mileage running E85, but I don't care. This thing really moves now!!!

Default Tuner

Im new to this whole tuner deal. I just ordered a sct x4 from stage 3 performance with custom tunes from 5star. You guys using the 93 performance tow tunes. Are you putting 93 octane in your trucks or running normal 87? I'm trying to get the best mpg out of my rig considering I drive it all day for work. I get 10-11 city all day.

Don't know what engine you have, regardless, if you're running a 93 anything tune, you'll need 93 octane minimum. I say minimum, because if you have a 5.0, you can run either 93,or E85. The E85 will give you a bit more power, but mileage suffers a lot. What I do when running my 93Race, is when the cost difference between 93 and E85 is .80cents +, I'll run the E85. I figure that's my break point between gas and E85, as far as mileage.

Tires are a big mileage killer.I lose 1.5 mpg instantly when I put the studded snow tires on in October.

I normally run 87 octane. I go thru about a tank a week and I have a 35 gallon tank. I have 2013 5.0 4x4 with 33x12.5r20x10 with level 4" cat back exhaust and roush CAI. I'm hoping the tunes will help.
