Default Misfires

I inherited my dad's 2013 4x4 F150 Ecoboost. I had hook up to the computer and it gave me several codes and I'm trying to fix one issue at a time. With the 1st code being P0302 (Cylinder 2 misfire), I put in a new Motorcraft spark plug and it still misfires. Today I will put in a new Motorcraft coil pack. If it continues to misfires any thoughts on what it could be causing the misfires: damaged/clogged injector, damaged piston, etc. I would take to Ford to find the issue but my goodness $250 per/hour and the guy said it could take up to 3 hrs to find the root for problem. All input would be helpful.

Try swapping the coil to another cylinder first before spending money. Miles?

I did put in the new Motorcraft coil pack and it still misfired. But when I looked at the new coil pack and compare to the original one...the new one weighs less and Ford Motor company logo is way different then the logo on the original one. And the new coil pack is missing some number the original has printed on the side....It's a fake and I should have know better when it was on sale for $64 on Amazon (when all auto parts store were selling the Motorcraft coils for $90+). I'm ordering a new Motorcraft coil pack from an auto part store. I'm also cleaning out the inter-cooler (which I have read it can cause misfires), then I'll go from there.

Denso and motorcraft are the same, so whichever you can get a better price on should be fine. As mentioned - you could start by swapping coil packs and see if the misfire follows. With that kind of milage a coil isnt a bad bet. Coils/plugs are by far the most common cause of a misfire.

condensation buildup in intercooler typical causes a severe multiple cylinder misfire - accompanied by a flashing check engine light.

Well, the Motorcraft coils are $60 at Rockauto. Which sounds more like the standard price to me. I haven't looked up a Ford store, but I would have expected you could walk into a dealer and pay $6x for one. Amazon is flaky no matter what.

Aftermarket ought to be half that, if you wanted to play the will it work game like that.
