I know - but someone found a wire in the door of the 2012's that is hot when the truck is turned on. I debate using it but didn't want them on "all the time". ...with the parking lights is great but I didn't want to go through the added work of pulling a wire into the truck.

Yet one more successful conversion today. A trip to Auto Zone for the LED lights, and a perfect result. Removing the mirror was a tad tricky - but the video on one of the early pages saved the day.
I removed the mirror because I wanted to solder and waterproof the connections. This board is great - lots of fun weekend projects! This one was not too bad - took about 2 hours.

I just did the mirror reflector blinker led mod! Damn it was easy, just wish I didn't wait soo long to do it! Ill post some pics later

Damn Sharper, I just did this mod today, and love it! I used a strip of six white leds in each reflector, looks perfect! Saw you used 2 strips of 9 leds in each(=18 leds per side! Holy chit). That should be called Reflector to Hid blinker mod...

In daylight can hardly tell they're on, but look good at night.
I too, didn't want hassle of running extra wire from cab to door.
