I havent checked rebates lately but if they are at the normal rate sounds like hes looking at his 4g instead of 10g now, haha! They might give him a little more since its a limited, hard to say. Though if he waits till gas is 5-6$ a gallon there might be some better rebates. Sounds like hes got a few extra grand burning a hole in his pocket though, so Im betting he doesnt wait.

You sir are correct. So here is the update for everyone:

Went to the dealer today:
Gave me 28k on trade for my truck, so now its paid off if i do the deal.

0% Financing for 60 Month on a 2011 F-150 SuperCab Lariat EB motor with 3:73 gearing

Leather interior
Sat Nav
Max towing with hitch and all that good stuff
20" Clad Wheels
Backup Camera with sensors
Moon Roof

You get the idea, all the bells and whistles. They are willing to sell it for 42k out the door.

What do you guys think? Good deal?

Then what will you do when the 2012's have something you really want? Sounds like a losing situation to me....basically giving them your current truck and 42k for the new one. But hey.... If ya gots the $$$....go for it.

What is the sticker price. I would think it would be too high unless you have at least 8-9 grand off the sticker (before taxes). They gave you what you wanted for your trade, now they are going to make you pay for it by charging you more for the new truck. Did they give you $1,000 discount for the trade as well? They can go lower. Like I said in an earlier post ALWAYS find out the bottom line on the new vehicle first. Then get a price on the trade.......

2k off sticker price - current rebates is a good price

I would trade the truck, and do it before Apr 4th when the rebates are gone.. just make sure that it is EXACTLY what you want so that you don't regret it again... order one if you need, just be sure that you ask to do the paperwork for incentive protection so that when your truck gets here you still get the current rebates and rates.

Im kind of confused. You owe 28K on your truck now and you basically have 4k to play with that you were willing to put down on a new one. So you will now get rid of your current truck 28k to take on a new loan thats 42k. If it was me, I would keep the 2010 because you owe less and you could take the 4k and swap gears out, get a tuner, exhaust, intake and do a few other mods to wake the truck up to suit your needs better.

Keep the truck for another year or two until you have it payed down more and the new engines are a little more proven and all the kinks will have been worked out.

As far as the seats go, I didnt think that they were different from 2010-2011. I thought it was the same exact truck just new motors.

For 2011 Ford made changes our improvements to: frame, brakes, transmission features, electric steering, motors, signal stock, instrument cluster, and a few things I can't recall right now. Some changes were minor (frame and brake refinements) and some were major (new engines and steering) and some was styling (instruments).
