So many parts on Amazon and Ebay are counterfeit. Try Rock Auto or an online Ford dealer.

 

My 2020 2.7 has been doing same thing. I had 290 MTE. Drove 12 miles, and now at 221 MTE. 20.3 avg mpg. You would think the average miles per gallon would also drop. I think it’s a faulty instrument cluster on mine. The gauges on the instrument cluster have been fluttering on start up, usually just happens in the morning and intermittently throughout the day. Seems to work itself out towards the end of the day if I’ve been driving, so it could also be a bad battery or failing battery. I’ll see if I can track it down when I have time to check it out.
