For highway driving it's hard to beat the Michelin's. The AT2's came stock on my son in law's 250 and they're holding up great.LT275x65x20's.

My cooper zeons were not very good at all, wore out quickly. My friends got the cooper at3 put on his truck the same time I got my Michelin Ltx at2's. His are wearing quick I bet I get 2 to 3 times the mileage out of my new michelins.

I use the P-rated versions as I don't tow much. If I did, I'd get the LT version.

The Good Year wranglers that came on my truck lasted 26k before the side tread was completely gone on them. They were a joke. I bought the Michelins and have rotated them 4 times now (every 10k), and it looks like I should get another 4 to 6 rotations on them. I can't really tell they have worn that much. I drive a bunch and have been pleased with the all weather capabilities these tires have. They are quiet too.
The OP asked for opinions, 50 out of 55 say get them, and he gets something else because can't justify it? Must have been a money thing, can't be a recommendation thing.

i dont doubt they are aweseome tires but the simple fact is i could think of alot of better uses for the $500 i saved by not buying them. I could have upgraded my wheels AND tires for the price of the M/S2s. On top of that this is my second f-150 and ive never ever gotten the full life out of a set of tires regardless of brand. The softer tires wear our quickly and the hard ones either dry rot or crack before the tread actually wears down.

i just pulled some BFG KO's off and replaced them with Dick Cepek Trail Country's... best move I ever made! Handles better, quieter, smoother, lighter, improved steering feel.. and a tad cheaper.

They dont look as tough as the KO's did from a distance but I could care less about that. However, when you do get close, the Cepeks have a nice deep tread pattern and still
have a 3 ply sidewall like the KO's.

The Cepeks also ride & handle much better than the stock michelin AT's that came on my truck when it was new.

My experience with Michelin LTX MS's in the snow & ice living in Oregon was not good. They also were not very
confidence inspiring off-road on anything more than a fire road.
