Default McGaughy's 6.5" lift ordered

Well, after telling myself for a year and a half that I wasn't going to lift this one, I broke down and ordered a kit this past Friday from Stage3 Motorsports (which were awesome to deal with and gave me a great price). My truck is a 2012 Lariat screw, black and tan, 2wd. Currently has a 2 inch zone leveling kit on it which I'll be removing.

I've read and heard nothing but great things on this kit so I'm looking forward to running it. Had a 6 inch pro comp on my 2008 and liked it, but wasn't the greatest. One perk of this kit (supposedly), is that it allows use of factory 20" rims. We're going to install the lift probably next weekend and then I'll figure out if the factory wheels will work or not. HOPING that they do as I love the look of them on a lifted truck, and will end up running either 295/60 or 295/65 Trail Grapplers. If not, then it's time to decide on rims. I'll keep you posted on how the install goes and will post pics immediately after!

Any suggestions on rims with the black and tan lariat, please feel free to let me know. If I end up needing to choose rims, it's going to be a super tough decision since I can't figure out if black or chrome is the way to go on this thing! ...

Currently on 275/65r20 tires

Thanks for the order. Id go with a all black wheel. And just my .02 cents, if you go with a black wheel I would look at a set of take off FX4 heads and tails.

What he said ^

Going to eventually get some FX4 Heads and Tails to replace my stock xlt ones. I'd stay with the all black wheels aswell. Yeah it's cookie cutter and somewhat of the "everyone" has it look, but it looks good.

Yea, have been going back and forth on it and sure enough passed my same exact truck with a lift and black rims today and it looked awesome. Looks like my decision is made, now just need to figure out which rims. This should be fun

Mines 2wd so 35 will be largest. I ordered trail grapplers in 295/65/20 which is about 35.3" tall
