Default Max payload question

Ok i have a fx4 screw 145" box ecoboost with max tow and on my door it says max weight of occupants and cargo don't exceed 1561 pounds i thought that should be 1900 pounds. Or does that sticker not include the added capacity of the max tow?

that sound about right, ford has like 6 different spring codes option pkg also affects the payload. and the payload pkg has a different axle, non e-locker and 7 bolt..

my xlt screw 6.5 has 1680lbs..

Yes, your FX4 has a lot of heavy options like the skid plates. If you didn't have max tow your payload would be in the 1100 lb range. Options reduce tow capacity.

Hum, my '12 Screw 4WD 145" WB 5.0L w/3.73 axle has a pretty good 1582 lbs of payload and its loaded up nice. Of course the 5.0L trucks get the higher 7350 lbs GVWR.
