The sd cards are just map updates for the navigation system.

Just as the other community members stated; the A3, A4, and A5 cards for your navigation system are strictly just for map updates. They are different than SYNC updates.

Ok thanks!

Any idea if there will be a new "sync" update?

Kind of sad, my truck is 2011. I just checked, last update was sept of 2011, and according to syncmyride, mine is up to date. Such a letdown that ford thinks just bc its older model that stability and functionality improvements are done with.

Anybody know if there is a fix for the bad tracking. I had a job interview yesterday and it was a good thing I had an idea of where I was going. Nav had me driving in the middle of no where for a good portion....

Try taking the SD card out while the system is running and then plugging it back in. Worked with the wife's MKZ. Been fine ever since.
