Default TrekStep

My truck didn't have the manstep so I added one of these and love it. They are sturdy and can be used with the tailgate up or down. It easily kicks down when you need it and stows when you don't. It is made by Bestop and is called TrekStep. Here are some pics.

Well all I can say is Thank You Ford for putting this on my truck. My wife is a bit shorter than me. 6'2" Vs 4"11" and she wanted it. Jumping out of things was fun when I was young but I'm paying the price for it now and if anyone laughs at it I'll just invite them to use it once. I've changed 2 minds so far in as many days.

I wonder how many of the guys dissing the man-step on the pickup bed have running boards or side steps on their trucks?? Perhaps they need to man up... Put on a six inch lift, no running boards or side steps, just get a running start when you need to get in!

Personally, i think the bed step is great!

its an option i wish i had, but not sure i would use it all the time. i bough a Bully adjustable hitch step for 9$ ( what a deal ) and its pretty nice to have one. its a bit short to climp in it goes maybe 2-3 inches past the tailgate once open since the ford tailgate is verry deep
