Maintenance Tip
I have always meant to make a computer file for maintenance records for my fleet of vehicles but have yet to do so. One thing I have always done is to write the mileage on my filters (air/oil/cabin) when I change them. That way when I am checking under the hood I can quickly see the last time it was replaced. Some modern auto computer systems have taken some of the work out routine upkeep but it never hurts to have a backup.
when my dad bought his '93 F150 brand new in 1993. Every maint. work he did himself, he wrote what he did to the truck (filters, oil change, wipers, misc. fluids and items), the date and miles inside the owners manual on the back pages. when he gave me that truck in high school, I kept up with it and did the same. I've started doing that on this truck too.
