My readout is also 1-1.5 mpg higher than hand calculated. I'm getting about 13 by hand right now. Is is kinda hard though to fill up to the exact same spot each time you put gas in due to temp or angle of truck. I know that would make a difference but I don't know how much.

Well, whatever difference it would make --- it would be low sometimes and high on others....not high all the time, right?

I just got my new exhaust installed a little over a week ago, and I'm still constantly on the throttle so I can hear my 4.6l 3v roar the dash is telling me I'm averaging about 16.2, which I swear is the worse I've ever seen it...

During the summer i was averaging 16-18mpg and now that winter has hit I am getting about 10-12mpg. It's the ****s but its a truck, what did I expect?

14 MPG city 4.6 2v Scab 4x4 hand calculated. My computer is always 1.5-2 high.

Ztruk8, I don't understand how "unplugging the battery" would have any impact on gas mileage. Please explain.
