Default Low End Torque

Whats the best way to achieve low end torque on my 2010 5.4? Thanks! I already have a CAI and exhaust.

Bolt on a Supercharger System or get a Tuner with custom tunes. These 2 will actually add more torque to your truck. You can also change your gear ratio to something like a 4.10 or 4.30 for more low end take off, but this won't add any more torque, it's just simply a gear multiplication.

A gear swap depends if you have a 2wd or 4wd. A 2wd will run you about $400-$500 (parts and labor), a 4wd will be 2x that. Check out Yukon Gears, they have an excellent selection and great reliability record.

You could always just trade it in on an eco boost. Sorry I couldnt resist. Thats what I ended doing.

Open up the driver side door and look for the axle code on the door jam sticker.Post up the axle code and we can tell you what gears you have.
