Talking Lose the running boards?

Well I've had a bad itch to get wrenching on my truck and have been spending the past month planning my setup. So far I've got bilsteins on the way, add a leaf on the way, rims ordered, tires waiting for pickup, lights chosen, exhaust chosen, decals in the design process etc. you get the idea. The one thing I haven't been able to decide on however is what in the hell to do about the running boards. Ive been going back and forth between leaving them or taking them off. One day I'm all about leaving them and the other I'm all about taking them off! Haha would like to hear your guys' opinions on it and for the guys that have gotten rid of them would love to see before/after or any pictures!

I made brackets to extend mine out a little so they are functional. I'm thinking about taking them off completely thou. I'm 6'2" and no longer in a relationship so I don't really need em

I took mine off pretty quick and am happy with them off. I have a stepstool if anyone really needs to get in and can't do it. I've used it once in over a year... Plus the truck looks so much better without them!! If your budget can handle it, get some AMP research power steps..

I'd keep em on if you are going offroad, just to keep rocks and **** from blasting your doors.

Pics of bracket? I didn't realize how sucked in they were until I busted my *** getting out my trucks truck with stock bars.
