Recently picked up a loaded black 2010 FX4 scab and I am looking to do a couple things to it and looking for some info. Decided that the best way is to just make one thread with all my questions that I can just add to.

First, I want to get the HD heads and tails (my truck has the chrome set)
Whats the best place for these with shipping to Canada? I saw a trade ad in the classifieds for the tails that I am going to look into a bit more.
Related to that, I want to tint the 3rd brake light, assuming best way is just some VHT?

Second, I cracked the passenger side tow mirror glass... Looking for a new heated one without ridiculous shipping.

Last thing for now, I need some tie points for the box to strap in my quad or dirt bike, anybody have any suggestions on products?

If anybody has any other suggetions on mods or whatever let me know too, still figuring out the truck.

 

For the headlights and tail lights look on ebay for a oem set. They are usually pretty cheap. For the tow mirror glass I believe you have to buy a whole new mirror. You can buy a new mirror from tasca. Since you have to buy one side I would just upgrade them to the 2013 style with the power fold.

 

Yeah Ive been cruising eBay looking for the heads and tails and found a lower billet grill that I will be picking up soon.
Ill have to look into the mirror glass, I thought I saw that you could buy it somewhere separately.

Im thinking about ordering a set of blue LED sills, but another idea I had was to get some blue LED rings for the cup holders but Im not sure how you could run a wire from the cup to wherever to tap into 12v?

I found HD heads for 175 on craigslist brand new takeoff and I'm doing the taillight swap.

After a couple hours of reading threads, I have come up with this list of mods:
heads/tails/tint 3rd light
lower billet grill
Looking for an upper RS tow mirror heated glass panel
Tow hooks/mounts for the box
LED rings for the cup holdders that Ill just wire into key-on power under the console

 

I have the back up cam and I noticed that the rear view mirror vibrates quite a bit on bumps and what not? Is this normal or is there someway to tighten up the mount?
