So your new truck towed a 12 year old at least Chevy. Do you really think your truck will be trouble free in 12 years? No one knows how his truck was maintained. If he didn't keep the oil changed and perform regular maintenance he should have blown a motor. If you don't take care of your Ford the same thing will happen and then someone else may be laughing at you.

I bought a 9 year old 1/2 ton Chevy from my neighbor before I got my F150. It had 103,xxx miles on it. He bought it new and took care of it. Oil wouldn't even get brown 2000 miles after the faithful 3k oil changes. Great truck. Take care of 'em and they'll last. The rest is the luck of the draw.

LOL... we have a 5.3 yukon there's no difference to the 5.4 in power in my f150 and yes they weigh about the same,I don't understan all the 5.4 bashing I don't think the sun rises and sets in a 5.4 *** but come on it's been around for a while and I know plenty off people that have run them for a long time with no trouble just wait in a few years there will be a bunch of tail pipe sniffers on here bitching about the new 5.0 besides we all know the best ford truck motor ever built was the FE.

I know for a fact the 5.3 vs the 5.4 in a SIMILAR size truck, the 5.4 is way better than the 5.3 thats all I drive up here in DC. Add anything to that POS 5.3 and it starts to suck for power. Plus not to mention the micky mouse interior and crappy handeling.
