Default LockPick & Camera Installation Questions

My truck didn't come with a reverse camera and I got used to having one with my last truck. I ordered the LockPick and tailgate emblem reverse camera from Camera Source and will be installing them soon. I was thinking that maybe I would get a behind the grill front mount camera much like Raptors have and install one of them as well. There are tons of camera available on ebay.

Has anyone on here had any experience installing a camera behind the grill ad can you give me suggestions as to wire routing under the hood and through the firewall to the lock pick device inside the dash?

Do you have any suggestions as to which front camera I should purchase?

Are there any gotcha's in the lock pick installation that I should be aware of? Or any tricks that might help me during the installation or even with it's operation after being installed?

Hey Jody,
Give us a call and we can get you an OE emblem style camera to go in your grille at a discount. We bundle the front cam, rear cam, and lockpick into one kit at a substantial savings so I can just do the front camera for whatever the difference is for the package price. So the complete front/rear/mytouch package is $773 so essentially you get the front for $195 (normally $289)!

Thanks for your business!

I went with the lockpick and the emblem style camera on my truck and it works great.
