Default locking lug nuts

Has anyone bought locking lug nuts? I hear some horror stories about different brands breaking. Also is 14mx2.0 the correct size for this rim?
Thanks.

I have gorilla lock nuts on my rockstar rims, they seem to be of good quality and you cant find a key for them just anywhere, id reccomend them.

I have gorilla "tuner" lugs all the way around and gorilla locking lugs. So I have two separate keys to remove my wheels and no standard socket will work.

I will add that I have these at every lug position - 6 per wheel.

I have the Ford OEM locking lugs (Ford Accessory).

No idea what size they are... but they fit my truck just fine with exposed lug nuts. I'm running stock wheels so I didn't really have any concerns with fit.

I stopped using locking lugs years ago when I saw people were just jamming a socket onto the lug with a hammer and taking them off as easy as the normal lugs. Also most people keep them in the truck which means it can be misplaced easy, or stolen easy. It came down to more cost, and slight inconvenience of carrying the keys with all the time vs a slight increase in security of the wheels. Maybe things have changed and these are “higher tech” and can’t be bypassed so easily.

Nope, they still aren't worth the time or money, easily defeated by thieves. The only person it keeps from getting the wheels off is you, lol! You can but a Kit with all the keys in it for cheap at auto parts store. Totally not worth the time or hassle

I suppose if they want them bad enough, nothing will stop them. Besides every other vehicle comes with 20" rims on it nowadays, so they're not all that special anymore.
