Its a new truck. I'd take it back and request a new grille. That 'n-word' rigging stuff is for trucks that are older and don't have warranty and its a cheap fix for buying a brand new grille or getting it repainted, but this isnt the case.

Here's a quick rattle can "fix":

I like that. I actually wanted to have my grille painted all black. Wanted to take it to a body shop to have it done along with the platinum panel on the tailgate taken off.

That sucks ***** !! Don't touch it, take it back and have the dealer look at it, it's obviously a defect from the factory. They should replace your grille with anew one.

Here is my crappy Limited paint job. I have an appointment on Thursday with my dealer and will be pointing these out to them.

The underside of all four wheel flares as well as some grill shots.

Looks like the only thing the word "Limited" stands for is a "Limited" amount of quality on the parts that are painted to make it stand apart as a......"Limited". So glad I didn't waste another $15K-20K for quality like this from Ford.

or take it back to the dealer and have them deal with it instead of fvckign up his paint with paint thinner.

From the similar responses from other Ltd owners, it seems requesting a new grille will not resolve it as it seems that's how they all are from the manufacturer.

Gotta say that whoever approved the final manufacturing method of the finishing process for this part should be hanged. Shouldn't be this poorly finished on a supposed high-end "limited" production run.

I just checked mine, it looks the same. Mine is the XLT with the chrome package. The black is oversprayed onto the chrome bars. Hard to get a good robot painter these days I guess.

every grille is like this. When I was at the dealer looking for a truck I was looking closely at the grilles. Xlt, lariat, harley davidson, all had messy lines exactly like your picture. Even my dad's 2010 fusion is like that. You would think they would do a better job on a 40'000$ + truck. I don't mind though since mine is getting painted.
