LightBar Location for 2014 EcoBoost Help
I have a 2014 Ecoboost F150. I bought a 40" LED Light bar and the Rigid Industries Raptor/F150 Light bar Mount. The mount wouldn't clear my Ecoboost Intercooler mounted in the front of the engine.
I'm lost on how to mount this thing
any links pics or ideas would be great.

Where are you trying to mount it? Pictures would help.
Most people will put a 20 inch in the opening on the front bumper, but thats not recommended on Ecoboost without an upgraded intercooler since it will block airflow. Otherwise some will mount it behind the grill up high.

Hey guys. I installed some new lights and thought I would share a little. I heard good things about e-yourlife LEDs so I thought I would give them a try since they are quite affordable. I installed a 42" bar behind the main grill and two cubes in the bumper grill area. I wanted to make it look as clean as possible so I routed the wiring harness through the same path as the windshield wiper fluid hose. I put the wiring through the firewall by cutting a hole in the huge rubber grommet that the other electrical wiring harness goes through. I was a bit nervous about cutting a hole in my dash, but I think I did a pretty good job. The switch panel looks almost stock. Since I did this during the daylight, I haven't had a chance to test them out at night, but right now everything is working as expected. For about $250, I couldn't be happier.

Forgot about the grille...its an E-auto grilles grille. The sell them on Amazon and eBay. I was skeptical at first because they are very reasonably prices compared to everything else out there. Much to my surprise, the quality is quite good and the install was a breeze.
Which Mounts did you use?
Here's a quick write up I did when I installed them. You can find it in the lighting section of the forum. Hopefully the pictures help you out some. The brackets that cam with my kit bolted right up after I drilled a couple of holes.
