I know nothing about levelled trucks, but love the look. I want to do it to mine, but I want to know how it affects towing. When I tow a travel trailer now with a weight distributing hitch it seems to make it level. If I level my truck and then tow will it make the front if the truck look like it's pointing up? Will it cause less traction on front tires somehow?
Do a AAL in the back. Keep a little rake with the level in the front and your truck should be level with a trailer. Other options are air bags and helper leafs.
But over all no noticeable change on traction in the front tires.

Thank you. What is AAL? What do you mean by rake? I just want to life the front end to match the rear. Nothing fancy.
Add A Leaf. The rake is when the truck is sloped. So a level with an AAL will still have the back end higher but instead of 2" higher it will be 1" higher. An AAL helps while towing but will make the truck slightly firmer while unloaded.
With nothing added in the back while hauling a TT the truck should still handle fine, your truck will just sag a little in the back. Again airbags would allow you to level the truck back out with a TT and probably feel a bit better while towing.

I was doing some measuring today. I tow a 7x12 trailer that weighs about 3000#. With the trailer attached to my stock suspension the front and rear measure level. If you lift the front you most likely will need to lift the rear slightly to be level when towing.
And then you're back to square 1, so why level in the first place?

Leveling a truck is probably the most common mod and fairly cheap by itself. Almost every leveled truck needs the added expense of support for the rear with any type of a load. In my opinion air bags work the best as they are load adjustable and don't change the ride when not loaded. I also prefer to lower the rear vs raise the front as overall stability and steering are better.
