okay guys, i'm ordering a 2.5" leveling kit for my 2010 screw 2wd and i had found a kit on ebay made by motofab.com for like 55 bucks, would that be essentially the same as a name brand leveling kit such as rough country since they're both just front strut spacers?

Pretty sure those are just front strut spacers. There cheaper than a level kits but I feel as the more time goes on the rougher the ride gets. I put them on about 2 yrs ago on my 2001 work truck. Sits level now but at 80-85 u really feel it gettin bumpier. Now on the 2013 fx4 I just installed the bilstein adjustable shock. Now that's a great shock, yes more $$, but it rides better than stock.

okay, that makes sense on the rougher ride. which won't bother me too much considering i don't drive too much at high speeds. but all front strut spacers are the same thing, there shouldn't be too much of a quality difference along with the price difference, correct?

I would think they are all very similar as you suggest, just a spacer.
Not sure that the material makes that much difference, aluminum vs. steel.
Just my opinion.

They do have different materials and some are pass and driver side specific to keep some angles correct.

Me, I spent way too much on my truck to cheap out on a suspension component, I went with bilsteins all around.
