Bigpotato.. thanks for the information... Of course we started with the drivers side.. I guess if it harder.. it was better to stop there.. rather than to get the other side in.. and on the drivers side.. haha..

Mingles,
I live in Addison, and I've installed two of these kits already. Unfortunately I am in North Carolina for the balance of October and most of November. I'll be back in Dallas on the 1st of December. If you need help installing this kit and haven't gotten to success by then I'll be more than happy to help you out; if you can wait that long. I love to wrench on trucks and jeeps so a level is no big deal to me. I worked on Hummers and 5tons for my first tour in the Marines.

However, if you cannot wait, the install instructions on ZONE's website helped me know what to do when I ran into an issue that made me cuss my head off.
Let me know. my mobile is 469-964-3047 i'll be available until the 30th after that I won't have my cell until the 19th of November.

Good luck,

Russ

i install daystar 1" this week end and it was a pain to the strut back in...cant imagine how hard on 2.5" kit

the way i did it i completly remove the lower strut bolt and inserted the top of the strut into the bucket first and then pry the bottom back into place...for some reason driver side was more difficult then passenger..
I had to completely disassemble the driver's side on mine, no idea why it was so much harder on the driver side.

I separated the upper ball joint and my bilsteins went right in. I ended up tearing the rubber boot on the tie rods so I had to replace them. Ball joint was easy tho
