Leveling Kit, Help
So I got a 2013 2WD silver crew cab platinum and I am looking to put a leveling kit on it in the near future. I was wandering if anyone has suggestions on what kit gives me the same quality ride as I have now (factory). Also I would like to put on a set of all terrains when I put the level on. What tires would give the best ride AND LOOK along with the level. Looking at getting either a 2" or 2.5" level with 33's or 35's, not sure if the 35's will fit.
Also what does a level and tires do to the gas millage, I have an eco boost so how much mpg am I looking at loosing on average?
Thanks

The ecoboost seems to be more sensitive to these changes also as far as MPG's
The Autospring leveling kit seems to be the way to go if you want to maintain factory ride quality. They are inexpensive and shift the strut assembly a little bit to keep the UCA from contacting the coil spring when suspension droops which other kits have problems with. Bilstiens will change ride quality so it might not be the way to go for you. I am not completely happy with them and plan on doing coilovers in the future, but for now they'll do. 33's will fit no problem and looks good leveled. 35's do look better, but can/will rub especially with an aftermarket wheel that uses less backspacing. You will obviously take a bigger hit on mileage with the 35's. How much of a hit can vary as the weight and tread design is also a big factor. Expect a min. of 2-3mpg lost.
Why not just put drop shackles on the rear to get it leveled instead of worrying about re aligning it? You'll beable to run 33s with just rear drop shackles. You'd have to lift the front to rin the 35s.
On a 2wd the biggest tire size ive is a 34 in but i would recommend a set of coilovers and rear shocks the bilstiens are nice imo however i feel there a little loose if that makes sense it might be because they still use the stock springs
35's should fit with a 2.5in level (I have a 09 4x4 with 2.5 level with -24mm off wheels wrapped with 295/65r20 nittos that fits, so I figuring the 2wd will fit as long as you dont have offset) . But I would recommend 33's. If you wanted to run 35's go with a 295/65r20 or something close to it because that is a less wide 35in tire. Be sure you also dont have a offset that is to extreme.

You have couple options...You can go with a set of bilstein 5100's or a set of spacers.
If you want to shell out a little bit more $$, a set of Upper Arms and Coilovers.
You can also add a Spindle too for more lift.
If you are sticking at only leveling, go with 33's - if you are planning to lift it ( 4" spindle ) go with 35's.
I know Bajakits/Brenthel has the Upper arm, Spindle and Coilovers but you can also check out SDHQ or Stage 3 for leveling kits.

What is wrong with the plates that you put on top of your struts.... That's the way I am going to go. Inexpensive and works just as well, so i'm told. Or is that just for 4wd??
