Default Leveling a '14 FX4 Help

I was recently informed by one of the vendors on this site that the bottom strut mount on the '14 is different than older models(2014 F150 FX4 SCREW with the 302ci). Was looking to level by adding new struts but have been told that i will have to wait until they figure out the new mount. Has anyone else heard this?

i Just leveled my my 2014, 2 1/2 and yes our struts have studs on the bottom instead of the single bolt through like 09-13. I used a Autospring 2 1/2 with 3" block. it can be done just done different than instructed. When we did mine, you CANNOT get the bottom in with the top in first the studs are 3" long on the bottom of the strut. You do everything as show in the instructions. after you remove the front bolt from the lower control arm, place the bottom of the stut into the lower control and bolt it up. Then grab 2 or three nice pry bars. Use one to hold the upper control arm out of the way and the other 2 to pry down on the strut and have someone tap it into place with a hammer. It took 2 of us about 5 mins once we figured this out. Im about to post up pics of the truck now. let me know if you need any more help.

Bilstein 24-187497 is supposed to be the correct shock.

Default Leveling a 14

Thanks Lawdog. I look forwrad to seeing the pictures.... I want to stay away form the spacers and was hoping to go with the Bilsteins...

How does the autospring work for you? If i end up going that way i was leaning towards the 2". Not looking for a lot of lift.... just level with room for some 285 70 18 Toyo Open Country MTs
