Default Leveled Ecoboost Mileage

I haven't seen a thread on moded eco's with respect to gas mileage so if there is I apologize for the retred. I have a 2012 FX-4, leveled 2" running Nitto Trail Grabbers 290/60/20 on the stock rims and a roll-x bed cover. I only have 3,500 miles on her. My life time mileage is 12.1 with mostly around town driving. I've tested just hwy and seem to get not much better than 12 mpg as well. I put the Nitto's on at delivery so I have no stock mileage comparison. I expected the larger tire and level to impact mileage, but not to this degree. How are you guys doing with a similar set up?

I am running raptor wheels and tires with a HBS 2 inch level. My around town mileage ranges from 13.6-14.3. Before I was getting at least 15.5. Highway is all speed dependent. If I am doing 75 plus... I would say mine gets 14. If i easy it down and just cruise I get 16.7 roughly. I can regularly see 600 on a tank on the highway. That's 16.67 MPG for a 36 gallon tank. I am running BFG all terrains and think they are far better tires than Nitto. I came from terra grapplers and HATED them.

I average about 15.5 MPGs with my 2" level and 295/60/20 Trail Grapplers with a 50/50 mix of city/highway and a 50/50 mix of hot rodding and driving conservative. I'm happy with that, it's more MPGs than I got with my 06 5.4L.

13.6mpg lifetime average 30k miles with 305/55/20 trail grapplers. Yours sounds around the ballpark with me.

I am running a set of Raptor take offs with Bilstein 5100s and I am getting about 14.5 mpg. I drive with a heavy foot. Have had the setup on the truck for over 20k miles now.

Correction on my tire size mine are also 295/60/20's. Nasty I'd be happy with what you are getting.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the raptor boards and how much were they?

One thing that helps me is the speed limit is only 55 around here and I hardly ever get on the interstate where the speed limit is 65 and traffic usually goes 70-75.

I bought them off Craigslist. Paid $450. As an added bonus, I am yet to get a door ding with them on.
