No he didn't. I have the exact same truck in a SCAB, it came from the factory with that grille and no "hockey sticks". To me personally, it makes for a much more understated look. I got all of the good stuff associated with the fx4/lux/appearance combo, and none of the in-your-face looking stuff. Each to their own.....
